The Online Content fabric is basically nothing but expression of the ideas, beliefs, passions & missions of the society. During the last 1000 years or so, the world was made of, rather selectively connected, small eco systems. Each eco system had its own social, moral, ethical fabric which was mostly sacrosanct and rarely questioned. Even in those small self righteous ecosystems, there were many revolts, uprisings and mostly it was hard to define the right side and wrong side of the war. So in these 1000 years we ( as a society) do not have a common or even a synchronized understanding of the "Right Moral & acceptable ethics "of the world. The problem remains unresolved. If one would have asked 20 years back as to, what is the possible solution to this.
